While in Lynmouth you should not miss a visit to the Glen Lyn Gorge.
A Site of Special Scientific Interest, the gorge is a beautiful riverside walk
along a picturesque valley through which the waters of the 1952 Lynmouth Flood
Disaster flowed. These waters are now harnessed to produce hydro-electricity
for the village.
